Spring 2020 found our world, nation, state, and local community navigating a health crisis like nothing we’ve ever experienced. During 2020/2021, the one constant we knew was the future was layered with unknowns for families, individuals, nonprofits and businesses. At the start of our fiscal year, United Way of Sheboygan County (UWSC) was concluding the Sheboygan County COVID-19 Relief Fund, a successful joint effort with Sheboygan Service Club raising funds for local nonprofits and the clients they serve, while fully understanding the pandemic was far from over. Your support, and our work together, continued to be more important than ever.

Embarking on our 2020-2021 Campaign, appropriately named United We Rise, we provided stability for the social sector, shined light on community needs, and turned hope into action.

Over the next year we saw the generosity of corporate contributions, employee and individual giving, new and long-time foundation partners unite to invest in local Partner Agency programming, community organizations, and Community Impact Initiatives. Our United Way family made an incredible impact within the building blocks of life: education, health, and financial stability.

As a modern United Way we promise to continuously work to understand the evolving communities we serve and transparently provide unparalleled service with data driven solutions. We value community engagement, partnerships, and innovative thought leadership, reflected in our board and committee work. Know we are honored for your trust, support, and involvement as we continue to solve complex social issues together.
